1/2 Prince or Jennifer Cosplay wig Review

I come up with a decision to cosplay Gakupo Kamui of VOCALOID recently and look for a good wig brand that matches the color of his hair -purple.

Gakupo Kamui on Dr. Realist

While searching the cosplay wigs on Taobao.com, this wig caught my attention, so I've decided to  buy the Gakupo wig of that brand.

The shop name on Taobao is 1/2 Prince:
http://chenyecos.taobao.com/

While; The shop name on Ebay is JENNIFER CosPlay:
http://stores.ebay.com/JENNIFER-CosPlay-Costumes-Wigs

According to Chenyecos:

"使用的发料是市场上最优质的日本进口卡尼卡伦发丝~"

or in english:

"The material of the hair is the best on the market imported from Japan Carney Karen hair ~"

The wig is heat-resistant up to 200, meaning the wig can be straighten under the temperature of 200℃.

This is the wig reference that I've got from Taobao.com; since I actually got my wig from Taobao, not from Ebay. :D

And this is the reference that I saw from Ebay.

Wig rating:

Texture:

Wig is soft and silky; is not easy to get tangled, specially the clip-on.

Had some problems with the long part of the base wig, but it's fine, the wig can be fixed by comb.

Thickness:

Strands well distributed.

Top view of the wig when worn.

Quality:

This is a good quality of wig. It's not shiny, and might be used on daily basis, but I suggest to pick a different color of wig since this color isn't a common color of the hair.

Here's the photo of me while wearing the wig.

Sorry for the blurry pic, my hands tremble a bit so I can't get a good shot.

I hope this review helps. Have a nice day!~

One boring day...

Okay here's the thing...

I have nothing much to do today so I've decided do some character test to myself..

Since I'm a huge fan of Gundam series, its really my dream to do Shin Asuka cosplay..

I did some test  and here's the result..

My friend told me that the raven bangs really suit me? Eh? *gloomps*

I don't really know if I can be like him?

Photo thanks to the artist!

Isn't he bishie? (Bishie/Bishounen is a japanese term meaning pretty guy.)

or atleast, are we alike? In some part? *cross-finger*

I really want to do Gundam S Destiny cosplay in the future!

Hopefully, I can do one! Ossu!

How to make a Chibi Paper Craft~

Character Paper Crafts originated from Japan. You can say it is the modern origami or the Japanese art of Paper folding!

Here's a sample on how it looks~ :)

That's an Edward Elric Paper Craft by Treanii of Deviantart~

Now, I'm gonna show you the steps on how to assemble a Japanese Character Paper craft!

First, you'll need a pattern.

Paper Craft Pattern by: desubunny

I got this one from Deviantart. Well, some pattern are available on Google or Yahoo.

Second, cut the head part off the paper, and fold the broken lines.

This is how it will look like when folded~

Third step, unpatterned the bangs.

Then, fold it according to the broken lines and paste the upper and lower bangs together~

This is how it will look like. :D

Next, assemble the head part by pasting it up together!

Note:
Paste together the the back and the lower head part first, then paste the bangs, let it dry before you connect the face to the head. :)

When dried and already assembled, this is how it will look like!

Now, let's do Len's head-tail~

Just do the same as step 2 and 3!~

And, this is how it will look when it's already pasted on Len's back of the head~

Next, let's assemble the body!~

Unpatterned the body and arms. Fold it according to the broken lines.

Paste the arm at the back of the space between the front and back phase of the body.

When dry, paste the back and front parts together, and this is how it will look like.

(body with the head)

Do the same thing as for the leg part, and insert it inside the body of your Len Kagamine Paper craft~

Lastly, paste the head into the body~

Finished~ ;)
